How to calculate once you have the cu.ft volume to length height and depth of a cabinet

You must have some idea of what you want, such as depth and height.

ft^3 divided by one dimension will give you the area of the other two dimensions. Dividing this area by the second dimension will give you the remaining side.

For example, you want a vertical cabinet that will hold 10 ft^3 and you want it 15" deep. 15/12=1.25 so 10 ft^3 / 1.25 = 8 ft^2. You decide you want it 2' wide so, 8 ft^2 / 2 will give you a cabinet 4' tall.
