HELP! KWH->KW conversion problems!

Postby GreenWick » Thu Nov 01, 2007 3:00 am

I am doing research for a alternative energy project on my campus. I need to figure out how much energy my college used last year. I was able to get these figures from them. Last year we used 8,756,934kWh over 364 days. How many kW does that make? Thanks.

Divide by the number of hours (364 days x 24 h/day) to get AVERAGE power, 1002.4 kW.

No way to determine peak power from data given, but actual power will vary above and below the average based on time of day and season.
