by need2know26 » Fri Dec 09, 2005 1:54 am I had problems calculating this. I am making a solution of 50mM Tris-HCl Buffer. I'm making 500ml total. I calculated 50mM of Tris-HCl and 5mM EDTA but I had problems with 1mM of 2-mercaptoethanol.
So far I calculated the mwxmolarityxvolume=weight and got .039g but my 2-mercaptoethanol is liquid. I know there is a conversion that must be done but I've forgotten it :( . Can someone assist me please?
