canada post delivers 30g letter for one stamp. How do I identify 30 grams weight of paper?

It's hard to compare by hand because you automatically consider density as well as weight. US nickels ( 5 cent pieces) weigh 5 g so six of them is 30 g.

I've weighed paper on a scale. US rates are ounce based (28.3 g), But 4 and 1/2 sheets of 20 lb paper plus a #10 envelope skate in just under 1 oz.
