I have an area that is 783 square feet. The price of the product that I want is $32.90 per cubic yard. How do I convert into how much it's going to cost me?

To determine the volume you need, you need to know the area (which you have) and the thickness you want. You may know the thickness in inches, but divide by 12 to express in feet.

Lets suppose you want it 6" thick, which is 0.5 ft. Then the volume you need is 783 sq. ft x 0.5 ft = 391.5 cu ft.

There are 27 cu ft/ cu yard, so 391.5 x 1/27 = 14.5 cu yd. You will probably need to order 15 cu yd.
