Gases weights and volume

Postby Cristo » Sat Sep 12, 2009 3:30 am

Hi, I just found how to make a post. Why was it so difficult to find, It must be me but I've come across better. On a forum like this i thought it would be as visible as the Q's & A's.
My question. "Is it possible to assertain how much gas is left in a gas bottle by weighing it." e.g if the bottle is "full" when purchased and weighs X amount, is there a chart (or other way) which correlates the weight to volume or more basically to approximate how long more the gas might last. I appreciate with all the variables it's can't a linear figure but maybe someone has tried to estimate it. God Bless. Cristo

I am old silver serfer; new to this site.
I still cannot figure out how to pose a question.
Can you kindly help me.
I need to pose the following question:

How can I determine the speed of a vehical travelling at 22 metres in 3 seconds; what would the speed of the vehicle be per hour.

You may not be able to help me, but please can you advise.

Thank for your time if you happen to read this.

Sincerely,

Frederick Eaton.
