Dry glaze mix with water

Postby HARRY » Sat May 28, 2005 8:06 am

I'm trying to mix dry glaze for pottery with water. The formula is 10 oz. of water to l pound of dry glaze. I have 200 grams of dry glaze and need to know how much water to mix. Harry

1 lb = 453.6 g glaze
10 fl oz = 295.7 mL water

So if you have 200 g of glaze, the water should be

200 g glaze x 295.7 mL water/453.6 g glaze = 130.4 mL water
