Last year we had a 10 x 30 pool on it (960 gallons) and didn't have any problems but am leary of this much more weight. Our deck was built with extra support. Support beams are on concrete and every 4 ft. going one direction and every 16 inches going the other. Any expert advice?
You need professional analysis. Floors are designed for an average load of 35 lb/ft^2, sure it's more in some places, less in others, but that's the average. You are loading this 132 lb/ft^2. Unless the construction is a LOT sturdier than your average floor joists, this is likely to be a problem.
Your 1790 gallons weighs about 14,900 lbs.
