coverting ml to cc in a syringe

I need to figure out how much 6ml are in a 3cc syringe. The package says 6ml per pound of weight and I don't have anything that will measure that small except the 3cc syringe. My dogs range in size so I need to know what line to draw the paste up to for the 6ml. Can anyone help me?

Oh, my husband does have some insulin needles and the syringes are 1cc, if that makes it any easier. Sylvia

ml (milliliters) and cc (cubic centimeters) are identical volume measures. 6 ml = 6 cc, and vice-versa.

Your 3 cc syringe holds 3 ml.
