I have seen two different conversion factors for converting BTU to Equiv. Pounds TNT. Can you point out the correct conversion factor for me and possibly the rationale behind it?
1. BTU / 3966000 = Equiv Pounds TNT
and
2. BTU / 2000 = Equiv Pounds TNT
