Please help me with solutions problem

How was this done, please help me maam/sir

1.. Sodium heparin (10000 IU/ml) was added to physiological saline (0.9%) to make 1 liter solution with final concentration of 500 IU/ml.

2. Sodium heparin (10000 IU/ml) and Polyvinylprrolidone was added to physiological saline (0.9%) to make 1 liter solution with final concentration of 500 IU heparin/ml and 1 g PVP/ml in final solution.

Is the second part of your problem in error? Dissolving another 1 g/mL of anything in water or saline seems an awfully strong soltuion, since water weighs 1 g/mL.
