Australian /American medical blood test conversion

Postby bobbyvol » Mon Feb 09, 2009 5:26 am

is there a conversion from the Australian measurements (mmol/L) for Cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and other blood levels such as Creatinine & Albumin (which is in g/L), into the American measurements? How do I find out the mass of the items to do the conversions?

I am trying to translate the American information to understand the blood reports I get here in Sydney. thanks so much!

I think the best way we can do for that is to ask from the medical doctor or expert on how to convert that data to American. You can also ask them the exact site where you can convert medical blood test. It is for you to be able to help to translate the medical blood report to the American.

The conversion from American to Australian is divide by 18

obvious multiply by 18 if you need it the other way around.

100 American is 5.5 Australian
