1 Ton per Hour(Refrigeration)= ? Electrical KWh

Postby river28 » Sat Sep 20, 2008 12:17 am

One ton of refrigeration is equal to how many Electrical Kilowatthour(KWh)?

Means, suppose there is a cooling plant with a capacity of 50,000 Tons/Per(Refrigeration). Then how much KWh (Electrical) will it be consuming?

Moreover, what is a relationship, or factor if any, to be considered and their impact.

Also, what is a solid reference which can be quoted vis a vis a relationship used for above conversion.
