Assuming you mean cubic meters, 1 cubic meter = 1000 liters.

I am a student in Bakersfield , Ca. and I have A project paper due: the problem is that I'm lost , And I mean LOST!!! Plese help with anything possible I am trying to convert with whole # decimals at this point..like 12dm to millimeters or 248m to kilometers.. Please help im desperate...hahahahah!!

Miri, that's quite easy.

12 dm = 12 decimeters = 12 * 0.1 meters (deci means 0.1)
millimeters = 0.001 meters (milli means 0.001)
So 12 dm = 12 * 0.1 meters = 1200 * 0.001 meters = 1200 millimeters.
