Grading Pipe

Postby Trainee » Sun Jan 21, 2007 10:29 pm

Please help, I can't figure out how to figure out how much rise I'll have after laying one length of cement pipe. My pipe is 13 ft long, my invert is 3.66m, and my slope is .6%. So if I want to set up my grade stick, how much do I take off the invert to get .12%? How is this calculation done? I can get the pipe to the right start point but can't figure out how to set the grade stick for the laser? Help please.

Opps, I made a mistake. Change the .12% to .6 % . Sorry?
