20 meters in 3 seconds = 20/3 meters per second, i.e. 6.67 meters per second. Now you can go to speed conversion page to find out that it equals to 14.9 mph.

I built and owned an amazing vehicle many years ago.
It was a truck with a J-57 ORIGINAL afterburner set up. 25,000 lbs of thrust!
I made a run one day.
1/2 mile (2,640 feet) and I covered it in 9 seconds. I blew the shoot, the shoot tore off the hind end of the vehicle and I managed to off-road it way past the end of an airport runway. Tore the axels off and some damage. But I was ok.
My question is... How fast was my top end?
1/2 mile covered in 9 seconds.
Many thanks! Sid
