square meters

The area of a square pen is 576 square meters. If I build a regular hexagon pen with the same perimeter, how many meters should each of the six sides measure? How do I convert square meters to meters? Can't figure out the formula.

The perimeter of a square pen with an area of 576 square metres is 4 times 24 (the square root of 576), which equals 96.
