Postby lavargas » Mon Feb 25, 2008 7:24 am

I have a lot almost shape like an L but has five sides that measure 63.12meter,6.35m, 26.60m, 70m and 71.83m.
Can anyone help me find the this lot size in square meter or give me the formula to do it?
Thanks

If you made a (scaled) model of the figure with sticks connected by pins at the corners, you would see it is not rigid (a triangle is, but not figures with 4 or more sides). Additional info is necessary to specify the shape.

You either need to specify the angles in the corners, or specify the direction bearings of each of those sidelines (should show on the drawing on the deed). Also be sure sure specify the sides in traverse order, that is as you walk around the property from a point of beginning, all the way back to the same point.

Without that added info, no way to calculate.
