Air Horse Power

Postby AlaskaMan1953 » Wed Jan 16, 2008 2:09 am

I have a core drill with a 6.5 AHP (air horse power) Motor, rated at 170CFM @ 90PSI, 19 FT/LP Torque. I want to change it over to a gas engine but have been told that air horse power is different than gas engine horse power...How do I find out what size gas engine I need to run this drill? Any suggestions, comments or conversion help??
