Postby dapsonlee » Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:20 am

i have a physics question that i need help with. dunno if anyone cud help pls. it goes thus,

A DENSITY BOTTLE WAS USED TO MEASURE THE DENSITY OF GLASS IN THE FORM OF GLASS BEADS AND THE FOLLOWING MEASUREMENTS TAKEN:

MEASUREMENT OF EMPTY DENSITY BOTTLE = 26.5g
MASS OF BOTTLE FILLED PARTLY WITH BEADS = 61.5g
MASS OF BOTTLE WITH BEADS AND TOPPED WITH WATER = 97g
MASS OF BOTTLE WITH WATER ONLY = 76g

FIND;

THE VOLUME OF BOTTLE?
THE VOLUME OF BEADS ?
THE DENSITY OF GLASS?

would be grateful if anyone could help as i do not understand this properly

thank you
