I need to convert mg m2 to mg m3 to be able to calculate how much nutrients is added into the system. I know the height and diameter and volume of the system, but now need to convert the mg m2, does anyone have any suggestions how to do this?

You must have stumped everyone here because no one answered. I am a day late to the party but just in case someone else comes along and asks I will put in the formula as well as a link to an online conversion calculator at the CDC http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/docs/2004-101/merchant account/calc.htm.

Xppm=(Ymg/m3*24.45)/(molecular weight)
Xmg/m3=(Xppm*molecular weight)/(24.45)
