Sandman:

Figured with that handle, you could tell us!! :D

Clean, damp sand weighs approximately 3200 pounds per bank cubic yard. You have space for close to 3 yards (80*1*1)/27=2.96 yd^3

3 yd^3 * 3200# = 9600# / 2000 = 4.8. You need approximately 5 tons.

Soozy:

You have a truck (or yard) that is 2000 sq long, 6" deep and maybe 4' wide?

If sq stands for foot, you either have a narrow yard almost 1/2 a mile long or one heck of a long truck! Don't try to drive it through a McDonalds drive thru!

A couple of questions.

1) OK, I get 6" deep and maybe 4' wide but what is 2000 sq long?

2) What type and size of rock?
