Weight capacity of a shed

Postby paulyjsob » Thu Sep 22, 2005 6:25 pm

Can anyone help me calculate that the capacity of my shed is? Its 28'x16' and the floor is suspended. The floor joists are 2x6's every 16". There are 6 concrete footing around the perimeter of the shed.. One in each corner, and 1 in the middle of the 28' side. How much weigh can this shed handle? Will is hold a 5000lb boat? Thanks!
