residential units per hectare into units per acre??

Postby Christy » Wed Jan 25, 2006 10:32 pm

Hi,

I am a land-use planner and am establishing net residential maximum and minimum densities, expressed in dwelling units per net hecatre (i.e. community node is over 40 and up to and including 80). How does I convert this into units per acre?

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas on this,
Christy

1 acre = 0.404 686 ha,
so 60 units/ha would be
24.28 units/acre

Just using 0.4 would suffice for rough estimates.
