Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. Inches of water into cubic feet

The area is 10 x 10 square feet or 100 square feet. I have 12 inches of water how do I calculate the cubic feet of water I have?

Then to calculat the weight I muliply this number by 8.33 is this correct?

12" = 1'
so you have 100 sq ft x 1 ft deep = 100 cubic feet

8.33 is weight of 1 gallon of water, not 1 cu ft.
Fresh water is about 62.5 lbs and ocean water about 64 lbs per cubic feet.
