convert cost/gal to cost/lbs

I have a product that weighs 10.7/lb/gal and sells for $11.50/gal. How would I change this to cost per lb.?

You have to invert the density so the gallons cancel out

$11.50/gallon x 1 gallon/10.7 lb = $1.075/lb
