need this calculation how many imp gallons of water does 3000ft of 1.25in pipe hold, inside measurment 1.25 in and it is 3000ft long thanks

1 Imp. gallon = 4.54609 L, so this will be easier to do in metric. (US gallon is 231 in^3, so I might do it in inches).

Volume of a cylinder = (pi/4)*d*d*l
Converting the dimensions to meters as I enter,
(pi/4) x 0.03175 m x 0.03175 m x 914.4 m = 0.72396 m^3 = 723.96 L = 159.25 Imp gallons.

so the total capacity of 3000 ft of 1 1/4 inch pipe in gallons would be 159 imp gallons thanks

How many gallons of water in1250 feet of 12" pipe.how many gallons of water in 1250ft.of 12inch pipe.
