Is 6" the INSIDE diameter? Assuming so, 6" = 0.5'

V = (pi/4)*d*d*h
= (3.14159/4)*0.5*0.5*50 = 9.8175 cu ft.

to convert to gallons

9.8175 cu ft x 1728 cu in/cu ft x 1 gallon(US)/231 cu in = 72.74 US gallons.
