convert kN/min to psi... how?

Postby prolab » Sat Sep 22, 2007 7:13 am

Hi,

Have a hydraulic pump with psi gauge. Trying to load a concrete beam at a load rate of 2.5kN/min.

How do I convert 2.5kN/min to psi?

Could you show working out please.

It is still a pressure rate, and therefore psi/min.
(I assume you maintain this rate until you reach some maximum.) Apart from being a pressure rate, not just a pressure, the math looks correct.

Thats correct, I am maintaining this until failure occurs.

Thanks again!
