Postby cgdavis » Wed Oct 20, 2004 1:17 am

0.1 = 1/10 (tenth) of an inch
0.10 = 1/100 (hundredth) of an inch
0.001 = 1/1000 (thousandth's) of an inch
0.0001 = 1/10,000 (ten-thousandth's) of an inch
0.00001 = 1/100,000 (hundred-thousandth's) of an inch...?
0.000001 = 1/1,000,000 (millionth) of an inch...?

Is 1 micron 0.00004 (4 one hundred thousandth's) of an inch...? OR
Is 1 micron 0.00004 (4 millionth's) of an inch...?
