mm or m into m3

Postby new » Wed Sep 20, 2006 2:44 pm

I am trying to find out how much in m3 will be a cilinder with inside diam.
mm 2000 and mm 6000 tall.

How much in m3 will it be? 37,7 or 37.700 thousand liters?

Does anyone have the formula?

I think I am mixing a wrong formula here.

Diam: 2 meters (Ø2000 mm)
Height: 6 meters (6000 mm)

Please help on this one.

Shouldn't it be this formula?

Cylinder = pi * radius2 * height

so it will be a total abt. 18.85 m3 ???
