Blood Pressure Measurements

Postby Elfay » Mon May 03, 2004 7:55 pm

I need to convert my French doctors reading of my blood pressure to "English" (imperial) measurements. So for example if the doctor says my blood pressure is 14/9 - what is that?

I know blood pressure in America is measured in Millimeters of Mercury - so it's already metric!?

I can't find anything on the web on this. Anyone know the answer or a good reference site? Maybe this measurement should be included on this site!?

Many Thanks,

Lisa

Thank you so much! The first real answer I found anywhere. Sorry I didn't find the earlier post/reply, and save you the hassle of answering. But I really appreciate the help.

Gee, my blood pressure's a bit high!!??
