Natural gas is about 1000 BTU/SCF, give or take 5%.
If that is close enough, they are "the same." If that is not close enough, you need to ask your gas supplier for the energy conent as BTU/SCF.
The energy content varies a bit based on source well and supplier. If it were pure methane, it would be about 900 BTU/scf, but there is usually a little ethane and butane which raise the energy content and a little CO2 which lowers it. If you have a precise analysis of the gas you can work out a precise energy content.
