Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on convert-me.com FaceBook page

Thank you for being with us and sorry for any inconveniences this could caused.

2012.1.8
first you might want to spell out what you mean by CNG (Compressed Natural Gas ?)
And does GHV mean Gross Heating Value? The relationship between volume and corresponding amount of energy for gas.

For natural gas, the Gas Processors Association (GPA) specifies a standard temperature of 60 °F (15.6 °C), but allows a variety of "base" pressures, including 14.65 psi (101.0 kPa), 14.656 psi (101.05 kPa), 14.73 psi (101.6 kPa) and 15.025 psi (103.59 kPa). For a given "base" pressure, the higher the air pressure, the colder it is; the lower the air pressure, the warmer it is.
Average sea-level pressure is 101.325 kPa (1013.25 mbar or hPa, 29.92 inches of mercury [inHg] or 760 millimeters [mmHg])
