cu ft to sq ft: possible?

Postby Math Challenged » Tue Nov 08, 2005 8:43 am

Is it possible to convert a measure of cubic feet into square feet? For example, an auto with a cargo space of 29.4 cu ft (LxWxH) would be what in sq ft (LxW)? I know that cu ft are volume measurements, but is there a way to determine the actual square footage of the same area without having the LxW measurements? Can it be calculated from the 29.4 figure only? Just curious. Any help would be appreciated.
