dilution help needed....quick replies appreciated

How to make a dilution sample:

have a soln with a concentration of 300ug/mL (50ul volume) and want make a concentration of 50ug/mL. there is no specification for volume size just that the desired concentration.

how is this achieved?

This is the answer to the question..
c1v1=c2v2
300ug x-----=50ug x 1ml=0.166ml,Use 166ul of the stock 300ug/ml and make up to the desired volume u need
