Microinches is largely used in our business. It is very easy to look at inches or mils and do the conversions in our head, but it would be even easier if it is included as one of the units on the length page. Mils, millimeters, micrometers (microns), and angstroms are greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you know, but just in case...

1 inch = 1,000 mils = 1,000,000 microinches
.001 inch = 1 mil = 1,000 microinches
.000001 inches = .001 mils = 1 microinch

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Hello,

You can find the mil, microinch and angstrom conversions on aqua-calc:

This is the link to "one to all" length conversions that include the mil, microinch and angstrom units amongst others:
http://www.aqua-calc.com/one-to-all/length

The site offers the tabular conversions as well, e.g. here's the microinch to angstrom conversion table:
http://www.aqua-calc.com/convert/length/microinch-to-angstrom,
or the mil to angstrom conversion table:
http://www.aqua-calc.com/convert/length/mil-to-angstrom

I hope these are the conversions you're looking for.

Hello,

Inch, mil and angstrom are already there on our Length conversion page, and I'm going to add microinch right away.
Thank you for the suggestion.
