Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on convert-me.com FaceBook page

Thank you for being with us and sorry for any inconveniences this could caused.

Request for addition of fractions

Postby Morna » Mon Oct 27, 2008 1:51 am

Hello! I love your site! It is very unique in that it includes a forum for even more conversion help!

However, I think it could use is a conversion of cooking measurements as fractions. I ask for this because I can figure out that 3/4 kilograms is .75 kilograms. However to convert this to a useful cooking measurement for my kitchen equipment, I still have to sit down and figure out what 1.65 pounds is in the form of a fraction. It would be great to have a conversion tool to tell me what 1.65 is in fraction form so I don't have to do math to make a recipe.

Please consider this addition for cooks.
Thank you so much!
