Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. Formula to convert tank capacity to interior area

I need to find a formula to find the interior surface area of a tank based on the liguid gallon capacity. i.e. a 30,000 gal tank has x amt of interior surface area?

Your question cannot be answered without knowing the form and dimentions of the tank. Is it a cube or a cylinder? Can you provide width/length/depth dimentions?
