Divide the KWH by the number of Hours and you will know the KW's.

If something took 13597 to run, then in ONE hour you would have used 13597KW's.

If it took 200 HOURS to make the meter show 13597KWH's then just divide 13597 with 200 = you were USING 67.9850 KW's PER HOUR.

If it took a month to use that much, and something ran 24/7 to get that number. 24*30days=720 hours in 30 days.

13597/720 hours= you were using 18.8847KW per hour.

Math: 18.8847*720=13597

Honestly, it depends on the context. If you are talking utility billing of energy (kWh) and trying to convert to kW, there is a load factor involved and the formula is more complicated.

KWH to KW

from what you say, if i have 1388 KWh for one billing period and ANYTHING is running 24/7 i would do 1388/(24*28days)? if that, the answer sould be 2.0472 kw per hour for that billing period?

Basically If a pump is rated 5 KW it means it will consume 5 KW per hour if runs continuously. Then it becomes KWH. The meter reading says 5 Units which means 5KWH
